Welcome to the Temple of Orville. In joining, I hope you contribute to our environment, and that that you may abide by the rules, which there aren't many of as of now. The rules are as follows.
1. No porn - First of all, it'll make this place look really bad, and second of all, I just don't want it here.
2. Keep one on one conversations to a minimum. I got in trouble for this one at another forum. About 7 or 8 (about 3 or 4 per person) posts is fine, but other people also have to have a chance to post. Also, keep in mind you can use PMs to just talk if you want to.
3. Don't spam outside of the spam section. It just really sucks when a thread goes a completely different way because of a spam post somebody made. A quick side comment is okay, but you must get back on topic immediately after.
4. If you are the one who started a thread (suppose you started one in the general board or specific discussion) then YOU may change the subject of conversation in that thread, for its your right having started that thread.
5. Don't insult other members. If it's either playful, or through an inside joke, I'll be fine with it. Otherwise, restrain yourself from insulting others, it makes people quit a site sometimes.
6. Though I have no real problem with this one, watch your swearing sometimes. It's fine if you do and all, just don't make it every other word, it just looks bad on the environment in the end.
The first three rules are punishable by banning, based on the offense and the number of times done. Follow these rules, and all should go well.
